Special Education Teacher
This individual is responsible for educating children who have been diagnosed with autism and other developmental disabilities in a year-round school setting. Applicants MUST have prior ABA experience and be a PA Certified Special Education Teacher. Completion of Child Line, FBI fingerprinting and PA State Police background checks must be done prior to working with our school students.
Job Responsibilities:
Works with children (Elementary through High School) who require highly specialized intensive teaching in a structured environment in a year-round setting with one-to-one attention using ABA principles. Implements daily activities to meet IEP goals, as well as updating short- and long-term goals for the student’s IEP, as needed. Assist with the planning and execution of daily activities of students, providing a safe, positive and stimulating learning environment. Collects and enters data into graphing program, prepares and maintains materials, administers standardized and non-standardized testing, communicates with the team as an advocate for students and staff.
Behavior Technician (part- and full-time opportunities available)
This individual will work one-on-one with clients of Potential Inc. in the clinic and/or client’s home, school, or other community setting under the supervision of the Program Coordinator. Applicants MUST have prior ABA experience. Completion of Child Line, FBI fingerprinting and PA State Police background checks must be done prior to working with our clients.
Job Responsibilities:
Implements behavior plans and learning programs to reduce problematic behavior and increase appropriate functional social behavior under the supervision and guidance of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst in a variety of settings. The ABA Therapist collects and enters data into graphing program, completes encounter forms, prepares materials, maintains organization of materials, communicates data at end of session when appropriate, and maintains drill book dates of mastery.
