Potential Inc. will host a six-hour workshop on pediatric feeding disorders at their new offices at 170 Pheasant Run Rd. Suite 100, Newtown, PA 18940. The workshop will be conducted by Dr. Sean Casey, an expert in child feeding disorders. The workshop will start at 9:00 am and run to 4:00 pm with an hour break for lunch (not included). Snacks and light beverages will be provided.
There is a$35 fee for parents, $60 for professionals and $85 for BCBA professionals (including 5 BACB Type II CEUs).

Who should attend? Parents of children with feeding problems (such as failure to thrive, or picky eating), pediatricians, special educators, psychologists, social workers and behavior analysts. The goal of the workshop is to provide participants with information on current research-based, effective practices in the area of pediatric feeding disorders. Participants will be able to identify behavioral-based strategies and resources to promote positive feeding behavior.

Their therapists are trained in ABA-Verbal Behavior (VB), and services may be delivered at home, the clinic, a school, or in the community. Each client’s strengths and weaknesses are assessed to design a comprehensive program unique to his/her specific needs.
